The United Nations, with the support of the Governments of Portugal and Kenya, will hold the 2nd United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC) 2022 from June 27 to July 1, 2022, in Lisbon.
Under the UNOC will be organized the One Sustainable Ocean event, focused on the ocean future, sustainability, circular economy, and innovation. The One Sustainable Ocean event is a joint initiative organized by Lisbon City Council, Fórum Oceano, Science and Technology Foundation, University of Lisbon, and several other entities.
This event is totally aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 14: Life below water.
As part of capitalization activities, Interreg Med Blue Growth Community and BLUEfasma modular project will participate in One Sustainable Ocean presenting the work of the community, the tools developed, and the main results of BLUEfasma in Blue Circular Economy. The event will also be an opportunity to promote the commitment of different stakeholders and policy makers to blue CE, through the adhesion to the BLUEfasma agreement and the Letter of Commitment.
