In short, the main objective of this meeting is for the current Blue Growth Community members to meet their new peers and benefit from the networking opportunities before diving in the Interreg Med mid-term event “Made in MED” on the next day.
Through their participation to the Interreg Med mid-term event “Made in MED” (18th-19th April 2018, Auditorium del Massimo, Rome), all horizontal projects, as well as high-level decision-makers and policy promoters, may discuss together the main hot topics in the region such as climate change, blue economy and inclusive growth.
The overall ambition is to deliver focused messages to policy level therefore influencing future perspectives and planning actions, both at transnational and national levels, beyond 2020. In order to reach this political objective, the Interreg MED thematic communities are called to highlight how the individual results of their projects can be “translated” into shared common messages and related added value, both for the population of local beneficiaries and projects as well as for policy makers at regional, national and transnational level.
The Horizontal InnoBlueGrowth project is actively contributing to this mid-term event, by proposing high impact and interactive performances and providing for suggestions regarding exhibition and communication issues and possible speakers for the thematic sessions.
