Blue Growth Community
WHY THE BLUEGROWTH COMMUNITY?
- To allow a transversal and integrated approach to modular projects and key actors at transnational level;
- To improve the portability of results and best practices of modular projects, ensuring a broader impact on external stakeholders and contributing to an increase of socio-economic development of the Mediterranean through innovative investments in the Blue Growth sector;
- To help MPs implement their results, contributing to tackling innovation, blue growth, Research and Innovation Strategies, mainstreaming of EU funds, transnationalization of clusters/networks-related issues in the Mediterranean.
WHO IS PART OF THE BLUEGROWTH COMMUNITY?
As concentric circles, involving the consortium of the project as well as the MED Programme, the members of the Blue Growth modular projects, the horizontal and modular associated partners, will further found the community.
When relevant, other projects from the "Innovation" axis of the Programme (and beyond) will be involved in the Community.
Lastly, the Community will then be enriched with key players of innovation in Blue Growth from the Med context, so as to reach critical mass and a recognized central status to express its position about blue growth in the European panorama. Transnational cooperation will therefore help building this position for it to become representative of an exhaustive number of main Mediterranean players, both public and private, coming from all Med countries.
WHAT ARE THE EXPECTED RESULTS OF THE BLUEGROWTH COMMUNITY?
Thanks to a thorough coordination among InnoBlueGrowth partners, a continuous contact will be maintained with blue growth modular projects in order for them to be involved in horizontal activities and for InnoBlueGrowth to gather their main outcomes. These outcomes will later be drafted and edited so as to represent horizontal and integrated recommendations to be addressed to specific identified stakeholders.
Further interactions with external stakeholders will be particularly enhanced during the project events as each one of them will include community building activities (peer-reviews, technical/political discussions, exchanges of contact information, etc.) which will help reinforce Modular projects productions as well as InnoBlueGrowth's. These events will also be the opportunity to ensure a concrete diffusion of information about modular projects outcomes as a follow-up directed towards all participating stakeholders.
The vitality of the Community will be guaranteed even at a distance using a variety of channels such as the media, social network, videos, and online publications.
